Introduction:
Jumbo indicators 151-Jumbo-200 are part of Lectrotek’s Large Display Indicators and multiline displays inNumeric and Alphanumeric versions in sizes ranging from 2” to 12” (50 to 300mm). The products areinnovative in their range programmability, and offer great performance and reliability.
The displays accept 4-20 mA inputs from field transmitters. The 3-digit displays have a 200 mm heightbright red LED display. Range is programmable 0-9999 digits, with decimal programmable at any place.
The display enclosure is weatherproof conforming to IP65 protection class, mounted on wall by inbuiltbrackets. Dimensions and general arrangement are given drawing in another section of this manual. Thepanel is painted by powder coating in color shade normally black or RAL 7032, unless a specific shade isordered.

SECTION 4: Putting into OperationPower up the online display as per its wiring diagram given in another section in this manual and refer this
drawing while understanding this operational manual.
Connect the 4-20 MA DC input from field Transmitters at terminals marked for the same as per Wiring andTerminals diagram.
4 keys are provided on individual CPU card of each display for changing range and/or calibration checks,
SECTION 5: Programming the individual disp lays As the instrument is a current indicator, the input programmed is mA input.
The instrument’s operation is described in 2 modes as follows :
Configuration Mode - Use this mode to re-configure the instrument range.
Calibration Mode - Use this mode to check the calibration or recalibrate the instrument.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN MULTIPLE KEY FUNCTIONS ARE REQUIRED, THE FIRST KEY IS TO BE PRESSEDFIRST, AND KEEPING IT PRESSED, THE SECOND KEY HAS TO BE THEN PRESSED, TO GO INTO THEPARTICULAR MODE.
Eg.: When S + E key press instruction is given, Press S key first, and keeping it pressed, press the E key, then releaseS key first and lastly release E key to get into the calibration mode.

Input Calibration Mode Keyboard Operation ExampleWhat is input calibration mode?In this mode user can check or re-calibrate the JUMBO-151 at site.To get into this mode, press1. S + E keys first.2. Press E key successively toselect ZERO and SPAN, ensuremA input is configured forinstrument).
3. Get out of the mode by
pressing S + E keys again.
Connect required calibration source(mA) at the input terminals.1. Press S + E keys. Display
shows ZErO.2. Press E key to see input at
ZERO calibration side.
3. Press OR keys to adjusterrors if any.4. Press E, displays SPAn.5. Repeat calibration for
SPAN, give full span input
and adjust error byOR keys.
Example given below is for anmA input configured JUMBO-151.

Note: Maintenance of these Jumbo displays requires trained / specialized personnel and it isrecommended to go in for annual maintenance contract with the supplier / manufacturer or do boardlevel maintenance only.

No display despite power at incomer Check mains, check MCB, check DC supplies. Replace if faulty.
Display is on, but display showsOPEN or a negative reading
Input is not present. Check 4-20mA input connected and polarityand see that signal is not less than 4mA. If connected and stillshows negative vakue, recalibrate using procedure.
Decimal showing at wrong place Re-program to correct place using procedure.
One display not coming on Check DC power supply output, replace PS if neccessary.
DC power supply failed Replace DC Supply as per BOM specs
After all above steps, no display Replace CPU board JMB16_CLK1
A single 7-segment display not ON Replace with spare JMB16_CLK1 card
