    Step 1:Install the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card in a PCIExpress x1 slot. Connect one end of the USBcable to the USB connector on the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card.

    Step 2:Connect the other end of the USB cable tothe F_USB connector on the motherboard.

    Step 4:Then move the antennas to a place wherethe signal is good.

    Step 3:Tighten the two antenna cables to theantenna connectors on the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth

    The Wi-Fi Share utility is supported in Windows 7 only.

    After installing the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card, install thedrivers and utilities in the operating system. Insertthe included driver disk and when the autorun screenappears, install all of the items that are listed. Followthe on-screen instructions to install the drivers andutilities in sequence.

    After the installation, the Wi-Fi Share icon willappear in the noti cation area. Right-click this iconto display con guration options.

    The Wi-Fi Share utility allows you to con gure how your Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card will act. First it can turnyour computer into a virtual wireless access point (Virtual Router Mode), which allows WiFi-capablecomputers or mobile devices to access the Internet through the virtual wireless access point. Second,it can be con gured to let your computer share data to another computer by simply dragging the datafrom your computer to the target computer (Wi-Fi Share Mode). Third, it surely can be used as anormal wireless LAN card (Wi-Fi Mode Only).

    Mode SelectionWi-Fi Share provides three modes for users to select as follows:

    A. Virtual Router ModeThe Virtual Router Mode turns your computer into a virtual wireless access point (WAP). Refer to thesteps below for detailed con gurations.

    Step 1:Right-click theWi-Fi Shareicon in the noti cationarea and select Mode Choice > Virtual Router Mode to turn your computer into a virtual wireless AP. Then select Setting.

    Step 2:When theWi-Fi Share Settings dialog box appears,select a currently running network connection youwant to share from theShare Connection list. ThenclickSave. The Password represents the network

    security key which is required when other computer wants to access the Internet through the virtualwireless AP. You can keep the default password or create your own one.

    Con guring your computer:

    Con guring the computer that wants to access the Internet through the virtual wireless AP:

    Step 1:Left-click theInternet Access icon in the noti cation

    area. When the Currently connected to listappears, select the virtual wireless AP you want toconnect to and clickConnect .

    hStep 2:When theConnect to a Network dialog box appears,enter the security key of the network connection the

    virtual wireless AP is sharing and clickOK.

    Step 3: After the connection, theCurrently connected to list shows that this computer is currently using thenetwork connection shared by the virtual wireless AP.

    B. Wi-Fi Share ModeThe Wi-Fi Share Mode allows two computers with Wi-Fi Share Mode enabled to share les to eachother. Note: Be sure to turn off the rewall on both computers before using Wi-Fi Share Mode.

    Step 1:Make sure the two computers are installed withthe Wi-Fi Share utility and have Wi-Fi Share Modeenabled. On the desktop of the source computer,right-click the Wi-Fi Share icon in the noti cationarea and select Mode Choice >Wi-Fi Share Mode.Then selectManage Wi-Fi Share to open the Wi-FiShare Manager.

    Step 2:The Wi-Fi Share Manager will display the other computer with Wi-Fi Share Mode enabled (the

    target computer).

    Step 3:Go the directory where the le/folder that you wantto share is located. Drag the le/folder to the targetcomputer displayed on the Wi-Fi Share Manager.

    Step 4:When asked whether to send the le/folder to thetarget computer, click Yes. The TXlight will be onwhen the le/data is being sent.

    hStep 5:The confirmation message will also appear onthe target computer, asking whether to accept the

    le/folder from the source computer. Click Yes tocon rm. You must respond in 15 seconds. TheRX light will be on when the le/data is being received.

    Step 6:The data will be automatically stored to a folder inthe My Documents\AirFileDownloadsdirectory inthe target computer, which is named according tothe receiving time. To directly access this directorylater, you can also right-click the Wi-Fi Share iconin the noti cation area and select Local SharedDirectory.

    C. Wi-Fi Mode OnlyIn this mode, the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card is set as a normal wireless LAN card and needs to connect to

    a wireless access point to get Internet connection.

    2-3 Using the Cloud Station UtilityThe Cloud Station utility allows GIGABYTEs iOS APPs to communicate, share resources, and control

    your desktop PC systems. Two GIGABYTEs unique iOS APPs are available now: EasyTune Touchand PictureView, both of which can be downloaded from the Apple store for free.

    EasyTune Touch:

    EasyTune Touch is a simple and easy-to-use application that allows users to remotelycontrol their system through Apple devices, including iPhone and iPAD. Detailedfunctions are as follows:

    Options DescriptionsOption DescriptionTuner Allows you to change CPU/memory

    frequency and voltage settings.System Information Displays the system information,

    including the CPU, motherboard,and memory.

    Hardware Monitor Allows you to monitor hardwaretemperature, voltage, and fanspeed.

    Remote Control Allows you to reboot or shut dwn your computer.

    Quick Boost Provides you with 3 levels of automaticsystem tuning.

    Connection Selects how iPhone/iPad will connectto your computer.

    PictureView:The PictureView application is designed to allow users to quickly and effortlessly sharephotographs from their iOS device directly to their computer. By simply selecting aphoto from the iOS devices picture library, the user will then be instantly able to seeit on their PC desktop.

    System Requirements: Windows 7 i-Tunes iPhone 4, iPhone 3, and iPad series (iPhone 3 and iPad series only support Wi-Fi connection)

    Three ways of connection:Before using EasyTune Touch and PictureView, use one of the three ways below to connect your Appledevices to the target computer: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connections. iPhone 3 and iPad series onlysupport Wi-Fi connection and iPhone 4 series supports all of the three connections. Below we useiPhone 4 as the demonstration Apple device. (Make sure i-Tunes is installed rst.)

    A. Wi-Fi Connection:Make sure your iPhone and computer are using the

    same network connection.Step 1:Make sure your computer is connected to a networkconnection.

    After the Cloud Station utility is installed, the CloudStation icon will appear in the noti cation area.You can right-click this icon and selectAlways runon next reboot to launch this utility each time youreboot the computer. To use EasyTune Touch andPictureView on your iPhone/iPad, you must launchthe Cloud Station utility on your computer rst.

    Using the Cloud Station:

    Step 2:On your iPhone, go toSettings>Wi-Fiand turn onthe Wi-Fi function. Then choose the same networkconnection that your computer is currently using.

    Using EasyTune TouchStep 1:Go to the main menu of the EasyTune Touch

    application on your iPhone. SelectConnection .

    Step 2:On the Connection page, select Wifi. iPhonewill begin to search for the computer using thesame network connection. When the computer isdisplayed, select it. Then return to the main menu of the EasyTune Touch application. Now you are ableto use the EasyTune Touch functions to remotelycontrol the target computer via the iPhone or checkhardware information.

    Step 1:Go to the main screen of the PictureView application.In the photo gallery, selectConnect .

    Step 2:On the Connection page, select Wifi. iPhonewill begin to search for the computer using thesame network connection. When the computer isdisplayed, select it. Then return to photo gallery.

    B. BlueTooth Connection:Step 1:On your iPhone, go toSettings > Personal Hotspotand turn on this function. Then go toSettings >General > Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth on.

    Step 2:Now you have to pair the iPhone with your computer.In the operating system of your computer, go to

    Control Panel > Devices and Printers . SelectAdd a device . Your computer will look for Bluetoothdevices and display them on the screen. When theiPhone is displayed, select it and clickNext.

    Step 3:Click the photo you want to share and your photowill be shown instantly on the desktop of the target

    computer.

    Step 3: A pairing code will appear on the screen. ClickNext. You iPhone will display a message with the

    pairing code for you to con rm as well (refer to thenext screenshot).

    Step 4:When the iPhone displays the pairing code, pressPair to con rm. After the pairing is successful, your iPhone will show that it has been connected to your computer.

    Step 5:Your computer will show that the iPhone has beenadded to your computer successfully. ClickClose to return to the Control Panel > Devices andPrinters window.

    Step 6:Look for your iPhone device, right-click it, and selectConnect using > Access Point to complete thecon guration.

    Now, you are ready to use EasyTune Touch or PictureView. Refer to the instructions on con gurationWi-Fi connection and selectBluetooth connection.

    hC. USB Connection:

    Step 1:On your iPhone, go toSettings > Personal Hotspot to turn on this function.

    Step 2:Connect your iPhone to your computer using the iPhone USB cable.

    Step 3: After the iPhone is connected to your computer, goto Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings . Make sure AppleMobile Device Ethernet is present. If not, re-checkthe connection.

    Now, you are ready to use EasyTune Touch or PictureView. Refer to the instructions on con gurationWi-Fi connection and selectUSBconnection.
