DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COMPANY
OSCAR Production Group is a leading manufacturer of high quality heat and corrosion resistant tube and pipe in titanium alloys, nickel alloys and stainless steels.
OSCAR Production Group was founded on the manufacturing and technical facilities of the Tube Drawing Workshop No. 4. (TDW-4) of the original Nikopol Yuzhnotrubny Plant (NYTB) in Ukraine, which was built in 1935. In 1976 TDW-4 plant started to specialize in the cold forming technology (cold rolling and cold drawing) production of high-tech tube and pipe for the Nuclear, Aerospace, Shipbuilding and Defence industries. A wide range of special materials were produced, including production of Zirconium tube.
Due to our long experience in manufacturing of tubes for special applications and highly skilled technical personnel we can produce high quality products according to the most exacting standards and with very tight tolerances.
OSCAR Production Group continues this tradition by investment in new innovations to maintain a leading position in the manufacture of tubes and pipes for special applications.
PRODUCTION FACILITIES
OSCAR Production Groups cold drawing and forming plant has a very large capacity. The plant is a huge 1.4 million square feet, equipped with 60 units of rolling equipment including 10 cold pilger mills, 41 tube rolling mills of roller design and 9 drawing mills.In addition to the large cold drawing and forming capacity OSCAR Production Group has a hot extrusion workshop containing hot extrusion Presses of 1600 tonnes and 500 tonnes. This hot working facility provides OSCAR Production Group with an ability to manufacture its own Mother Tube and in addition to produce heavy walled tubes for special applications. Hot extruded round bars can also be produced at this facility.
Technical capabilities of OSCAR Production Group are comparable to simalar facilities of world leading manufacturers of high tech tubular products.

OSCAR PRODUCTION GROUP QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT GUARANTEES COMPLIANCE TO ALL
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS
OSCAR Production Group has highly skilled technical personnel and fully equipped laboratories to perform any
test or inspection upon customer’s request. There are a metallurgy laboratory and department for non-destructive
test and inspection. All tests and inspections are carried out in accordance with both domestic and International
standards for all tubular and bar products. We provide incoming raw material control, so traceability is ensured
and high quality control is guaranteed.
Our products are used in different industries with severe process applications such as the Nuclear Power,
Aerospace, Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Off-Shore, Shipbuilding, Process Engineering, Space and
Defense industries. Therefore product quality is controlled at all stages of production, right up to shipment
of finished tubes. All technological processes are controlled and monitored and results of direct instrumented
measurement and calibration are recorded and kept on sile.
OSCAR Production Group provides the following types of quality control:
Visual inspection of external and internal surfaces with usage of optical equipment facilities
Instrumented measurement of geometrical dimensions
Instrumented control for estimation of the quality of external and internal surfaces, metal density and
microstructure analysis
Measurements of tube surface roughness, measurements of dimensions and wall thickness over the entire
tube length
Steeloscopes (for Alloys), chemical and spectral analysis for steel and alloy grade control
Independent Third Party inspection upon customer’s request
OSCAR Quality management system is certified in accordance with EN ISO 9001: 2008, PED 97/23/EC and AD 2000-Merkblatt W0, EN 9100:2009. The mill has NORSOK M-650 and NADCAP certification.
