About Us

• The company was incorporated in 1983 with a with a small hydro distillation plant in Northern India.

• Headed by Mr. Ranveer Kapoor, Managing Director & Technical Director, having achieved his Masters and Bachlors Degree in Pharmacy from BHU-Varanasi in the year 1973 and having a vast experience in the field of Business Management as well as handles technical inputs and designing of the plant.

• Based on the results of the market assessment undertaken then, it directed its efforts towards the production of a range of products like Menthol Crystals.

• In 1991 the company moved its operations to a new large and modern building equipped with most modern laboratory in Lucknow. Maya Biotech has grown to be an internationally active company with operations and sales activities in several countries.

• Since 2003, the company has diversified its production in Speciality Chemicals and drug intermediates like Thiophosgene and its derivatives like Phenyl Chlorothionoformate, etc.

• The company is also engaged into contract manufacturing of verious intermediates under CDA for some companies in US.

• The production is done in three shifts of 8 hours each• Annual Turnover of the company at present in Chemicals is appox

Facilities

• The Manufacturing Plant is situated in Lucknow. The plant is situated in the approved chemical zone at F-7, Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (U.P.S.I.D.C.), Chinhut, District Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, INDIA. Total Area of site is 20,000 sq ft and Total Constructed Area is 10,000 sq ft, Source of Water is Ground Borewell.

Thiophosgene

• Manufactured on batch process of 20-30kg batch.

• Current Manufacturing Capacity is 1 – 1.5MT per Month

• Current Capacity Utilization is 60% approx.• Packaging is Teflon coated Steel Containers

and each container can carry 25kg / 50kg net Thiophosgene.

• The container is labeled with Net Weight, Gross Weight, MSDS Specifications, CAS Number, Hazard Class, Packaging Group & Emergency Telephone Numbers.

Thiophosgene

• Currently we are manufacturing and exporting Thiophosgene to countries like US, UK, China, Germany, etc.

• We are also manufacturing some derivatives of Thiophosgene like Phenyl Chlorothionoformate (CAS: 1005-56-7), etc. on contract / confirmed order basis.

• We have also worked for some companies under CDA and manufactured some derivatives of Thiophosgene.
