University of Illinois – Successfully turned a small batch of pig manure

into oil– He said that pig oil could be alternated for

petroleum oil

In 1970’s, U.S. researchers attempted to turn wood and coal into oil. – The cost was too expensive, so they dropped the

idea– Once oil price dropped, the idea of turning pig

manure into crude oil was less attraction – Oil price dropped to $20 per barrel

Now???

Its cheaper…– The price jumped back to $40 per barrel• The people go back to being attractive to turning pig manure into oil because it is cheaper than buy the oil barrels.
