As in previous years the Parish Walk is made possible by thegenerosity of J. H, T. Wood, Esq., President of the Manx AAC.,and the Committee are grateful for the opportunity of stagingthe event for the fourth time.
AWARDS: 1st - Prize value , £7 7s. Od.2nd - Prize value £5 5s. Od.3rd - Prize value £3 3s. Od.
LADIES: 1st - Prize value £7 7s. Od.2nd - Pnize value £5 5s. Od.31'(1- Prize value £3 3s. Od.
In the event of no Competitor finishing the race distance,special awards are to be made to the first three Competitors ineach class covering the longest distance after St. Germain'sChurch, Peel.
Such awards are: 1st - Prize value £5 5s. Od.2nd - Prize value £3 3s. Od.3rd - Prize value £2 2s. Od.
Also an extra award for the first man to pass the leading lady.
Although 'primarily a race for individual competitors, therewill be an award to the winning TEAM through the kindness ofMr. and Mrs. George Ridgway.
The Team Prize will be awarded to the highest-placedTHREE finishers of any nominated team of not more than fourcompetitors. The placings of non-team competitors will not betaken into account by the Committee when reckoning the teampositions. The Team Award will be witheld if no team is suc-cessful in having three members complete the full distance ofthe course.
The decision of the Committee is final for all awards.
Presentation of awards by the President of the Manx AAC.will take place at the Villa Marina Royal Hall, on Saturday,27th April, during the Dance interval - at 9 p.m. approximately. ~-
Finishing competitors will be received at the Villa Marinauntil midnight-when the 'race officially ends.
