Pastor’s Reflection YOUR HEART TODAY
Lord, grant me courage Lord, grant me strength Grant me compassion That I may be your heart today. ‐Your Heart Today, Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ
Is there something more? We go to mass, do our obliga ons, and give our contribu ons. Is this it? Is this what being a Catholic is all about and nothing more? If so, is our heart at ease now or is it s ll longing for more? This Lent, as a community let us come for a moment of prayer and discernment. Together let us reflect on where God is leading us. At the resurrec on, Christ told his disciples, “Go…”. Where is this Christ invi ng us to go and experience the “MORE” our hearts and souls are longing for. Three evenings star ng April 1st un l April 3rd for just an hour each night (7:00 to 8:00 pm) with the Blessed Sacrament exposed, let us come to pray, listen to reflec ons, enjoy silence, and be with the Lord—allowing Him to guide us to a life that can quench our yearning for MORE by becoming His HEART today in our world. Fr. Gerald Pedrera Parochial Vicar St. Isadore Catholic Church
EVERYONE IS INVITED AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THIS
LENTEN MISSION APRIL 1‐3.

When are Second Collec ons scheduled in 2019? Parishioners have asked us to highlight when we will have second collec ons in 2019. We hope this will answer your ques ons.
We have four categories of recurring second collec ons scheduled throughout the year.
‐ On the second weekend of every month, a second collec on will be taken to help support the Building and Ground Improvements.
‐A second collec on for Saint Vincent de Paul will be held on the fi h weekend of the month. There are normally four months in the year that have five weekends. This year SVdP Collec ons will be taken in March, June, September and December.
‐Every three months we will have second collec ons to support Religions Educa on, and another for the support of our Diocesan Assessment.
‐Occasionally, a second collec on may be held to support a community or worldwide event, such as a hurricane, earthquake, fire or another major disaster. We will advise the Parish a week or more before such a collec on is scheduled.
On‐line giving makes it easy to donate to second collec ons. Simply log on to Faith Direct and ini ate the dona on for the second collec ons.
We will announce the recurring second collec ons in the Bulle n a week prior, and inform the congrega on at the Mass when a second collec on will be held.
Any ques ons regarding second collec ons may be directed to Marlene or Ed Lee.
Thank you for your ongoing support and generosity to our second collec ons.
