Alternative Maps
The following alternative maps &splay management area allocations for each National Forest and Grassland within the scbpe of this Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) Each Forest and Grassland, as displayed, has a legend depicting management area allocations through various shades or gray tones Admmistrative units or compartments within each map are identified by number. These compartment numbers will help reference a particular area to other larger scale maps. These maps are only apprommate, closer reference maps for exact boundaries can be obtained at the Forest Supervisor’s Office, 701 North First, Lufkin, Texas 75904
The Selected Alternative map, Alternative 8, is found both in this Map Package and in a larger, more detailed map found within the inside back cover of the Plan document. The selected alternative map within the Plan is an administrative size map, with a scale of 1/2 inch to the mile Use the smaller reference map in this Map Package to compare various alternatives, for a detailed review of the selected alternative, you should consult the Plan map.
