Carbon fibre cord for impregnationwith MapeWrap 21 (two-componentsuper-fluid epoxy resin).MapeWrap C Fiocco is a complete rangeof cord in unidirectional carbon fibre with ahigh modulus of elasticity. After impregnation, while wearing a pair of impermeable rubber gloves, apply a lightpressure with your fingers on the part of thecord which has been dipped in order toremove the excess resin. Roll the meshback into its original position and thensprinkle fine sand on the part of MapeWrapC Fiocco which has been dipped in theresin. An alternative method consists inrolling the said cord dipped in resin in a bedof sand. Either one of the above proceduresmay be used, and they are carried out toobtain a surface which offers a better grip.When the resin has set, remove the meshfrom the part of the cord which is notimpregnated with resin so that it is easier toopen out the carbon fibres.

After extracting MapeWrap S FIOCCO through the hole inthe top of the package, trim to the exactlength required with a clean cut using agrinder. Peel back the mesh towards thepart of the MapeWrap S FIOCCO which is not to be impregnated with resin, andapply Mapewrap 11, Mapewrap 12 orMapewrap 31 on the rest of the cord afterplacing it in contact with the structuralelement to be strengthened.

Two-component, high-ductility mortarwith a pozzolanic reaction used forreinforcing masonry structures inconjunction with Mapegrid G 120 orMapegrid G 220 at a thickness of 6 mm and for smoothing and levellingsurfaces in concrete, stone and tuff.Planitop HDM is used in conjunction withMapegrid G 120 or Mapegrid G 220 (aspecial mesh made from primed fibreglass)to reinforce masonry structures and to evenout surfaces in concrete, stone, brick andtuff. Thanks to its high content of syntheticresin, Planitop HDM has high bondingstrength and, once hardened, forms atough, compact, layer which isimpermeable to water and harmful gasespresent in the atmosphere and is resistantto freeze-thaw cycles. Planitop HDM issupplied in the form of two pre-dosedcomponents, which must be mixedtogether without adding either water or anyother ingredient. The mortar obtained isapplied in a single coat at a thickness of upto 6 mm using a trowel, on surfaces whichmust be clean, solid and saturatedbeforehand with water or in case of veryabsorbent surfaces, primed with Primer G.The surface is then smoothed over using aflat trowel or sponge float a few minutesafter being applied.Planitop HDM meets the minimumrequirements of EN 1504-3 for R2-class nonstructural mortars and the requirements of EN 1504-2, in compliance with MCprinciple, for concrete protection.

Two-component flexible cementitiousmortar for waterproof protection ofconcrete, swimming-pools andbalconies.Use Mapelastic to provide a highly flexible,protective and waterproof coating toconcrete structures particularly subject tocracking.Mapelastic seals hairline cracks alreadypresent in substrates.Mapelastic is supplied in two pre-measured components which must bemixed together without adding water orother ingredients. The mortar is appliedwith a trowel onto perfectly clean andsound surfaces that have been previouslydampened with water.Mapelastic can be applied up to 2 mmthick in a single coat. When applying tosurfaces particularly stressed or crazed, it is essential to embed a 4 x 4.5 mm square-grid Fibreglass Mesh.To further improve both elongation at failureand crack bridging of Mapelastic, werecommend inserting Mapetex Sel, macro-holed non-woven polypropylene fabric.Application: trowel or rendering machine.Mapelastic meets the requirements of EN 1504-2 standards, in compliance withPI, MC and IR and principle, for concreteprotection.

Two-component, flexible, abrasion-resistant, epoxy-polyurethane resin-based dressing material for protectingand waterproofing concretestructures.Mapecoat BS 1 is a flexible dressingmaterial which is waterproof and resistantto abrasion, applied on any concretesurface to impede the penetration ofaggressive elements such as chlorides, oiland hydrocarbons.It is particularly recommended to formprotective dressings around the kerbs of bridges, to avoid the penetration of de-icing salts and to increase strengthduring freeze/thaw cycles. Three-component hydrophile gel forconsolidating grounds and for barrageinjection in concrete.Mapegel 50 is used for consolidatinggrounds that are not very cohesive, forwaterproofing hydraulic structures that leakwater through macro-porosities and micro-cracks such as dams, bulkheads andtunnels.Mapegel 50 is a hydrophile gel based onmetacrylates composed of 3 components.After its preparation and thanks to its lowviscosity, Mapegel 50 can easily penetratethrough macro-porosities and very smallcavities, sealing them perfectly. After it hashardened, Mapegel 50 has high viscosityand excellent chemical resistance to themain organic and inorganic liquids.Pour part A (resin) into a clean plasticcontainer and while stirring add part B(hardener). Light-coloured salt-resistant cement-free pre-packed lime- and Eco-Pozzolan-based mortar to be used before applying Mape-Antique MC, Mape-Antique CCand Mape-Antique LC, dehumidifyingmortars on stone, tuff and bricksubstrates.Mape-Antique Rinzaffo is especiallyrecommended as first coat in therestoration of old stone, tuff and brickbuildings damaged by the strong presenceof chlorides. It is especially recommendedto improve the adhesion andchemical/physical resistance to solublesalts of macro-porous mortars such as Mape-Antique MC, Mape-Antique CC,and Mape-Antique LC dehumidifyingmortars.Mape-Antique Rinzaffo’s specialproperties prevent soluble salts frompenetrating macro-porous mortars. Thehygroscopicity of soluble salts such aschlorides can cause localised humidity inmortars used in insufficiently ventilatedareas.Mix a 20 kg bag of Mape-Antique Rinzaffowith 5 to 5.5 l of water in an ordinary jobsite mixer for 5-6 minutes.Mape-Antique Rinzaffo is applied bytrowel in a maximum thickness of approx. 5 mm.

Cement-free hydraulic binder for light-coloured dehumidifying lime- and Eco-Pozzolan-based mortars for therestoration of damp stone, brick andtuff masonry.Mape-Antique LC is a pre-blendedsulphate-resistant binder used to preparethick-bed mortars and dehumidifyingrenders to restore masonry subject to risingdamp or damaged by soluble salts presentin the ground, water table, and constructionmaterials.Mape-Antique LC is a ready-to-use whitecoloured binder, with a base of hydraulicmaterials with pozzolanic action, syntheticfibres and additives and can be tinted onsite with inorganic oxides. Mix a 20 kg bagof Mape-Antique LC with 40 kg of sandgraded between 0.5 and 2.5 mm or with 50 kg of sand graded from 0.5 to 5 mm in acement mixer for 5-6 minutes. The Mape-Antique LC mortar should be applied after applying Mape-Antique Rinzaffo and is suitable forthe restoration of buildings damaged bychlorides and sulphates. For maximumdehumidifying, plasters produced withMape-Antique LC must not be less than20 mm thick.

Consumptionfrom 500 kg/m3 with sand graded between0.5 and 2.5 mm to 440 kg/m3 with sandgraded between 0.5 and 5 mm.


Cement-free lime- and Eco-Pozzolan-based fine mortars, respectively light-coloured and light pink, for finishingdehumidifying mortars applied onstone, brick and tuff masonry.Mape-Antique FC is a light-coloured pre-blended sulphate-resistant mortar used for finishing rougher dehumidifying plasters such as Mape-Antique MC and Mape-Antique LC.Mape-Antique FC is also available in thelight pink Mape-Antique FC/R version for finishing Mape-Antique CC plaster.Mape-Antique FC and Mape-Antique FC/R are ready-to-usemortars with a base of hydraulic binderswith pozzolanic action, special additivesand finely graded natural sand.Mix a 25 kg bag of Mape-Antique FC orMape-Antique FC/R with 5.75-6.0 l ofwater with a drill filled with an agitator untilcompletely blended.Mape-Antique FC and Mape-Antique FC/R are applied with atrowel or spatula on clean substrates thathave been saturated with waterbeforehand, in a thickness of 1-2 mm. After15-20 minutes the surface can be finishedwith a sponge float.
