What is a map?

• (noun) a representation, usually on a flat surface, as of the features of an area of the earth

Product Map

• shows materials and items that are commonly exported from a particular area.

• Exported- (verb) to ship [things] to other countries or places for sale, exchange, etc.

Population Map

• shows the approximate number of people who live in a certain area.

• Population- (noun) the total number of persons living in a country, city, or any district or area.

Physical Map

• Shows the location of cities, bodies of water, and landforms, such as deserts, mountains, and plains.

Political Map

• Shows the boundaries within a country.
