Spreading our “light” and our love. Our participation in Together In Mission allows us to share our gifts with the less fortunate parishes across the Diocese. It is the measure of our love, kindness and “light” in action. This annual appeal is our chance to spread our “light” and our love while we share our gifts with the less fortunate parishes in the diocese. This important diocese wide program helps fund 80 poor parishes and 63 schools and religious education programs where people of all ages and ethnicities embrace the opportunity to find the “Light” and share it.
For those who have contributed or pledged—THANK YOU. If you have not yet submitted your pledge/contribution to this important program, we need you! Pledge envelopes are available in the narthex or in the parish office. You can also contribute online at www.ourmissionla.org Our parish commitment is $146,900.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Continuing their journey towards full initiation at Easter. ..
THE PERIOD OF PURIFICATION & ENLIGHTMENT-THE SCRUTINIES+
The scrutinies, which are solemnly celebrated on Sunday have above all a spiritual purpose. These are ancient rites and they may, at first, seem strange to us. But they are profoundly rooted in our human experience. We need to examine (scrutinize) how we are, the areas of our lives where we are tempted, or seriously sin - in what we do and what we fail to do. We really need healing and the strength that can come from the support of our sisters and brothers. These very special rites are celebrated on the middle three Sundays of Lent, at liturgies where the Elect are present. The Elect are those in our midst who are preparing for Baptism. Part of their journey to the font is that they have been received among us, the Rite of Acceptance, and they have been enrolled in the Book of the Elect in the Rite of Election.
Please continue to pray for our brothers and
sisters in the RCIA program. Sociedad Guadalupana
La Sociedad Guadalupana se
dedicada al servicio, obras de caridad, y la
devoción a la Virgen de Guadalupe.

Parish Website and Electronic Giving Help You Stay Connected
Lent is a wonderful time for us. In addition to the very special meaning of the liturgical celebration, we are always happy to see so many parishioners whose schedules may not allow them to attend Mass at our parish on a regular basis. If you are one of those who cannot visit our parish as much as you like, you might want to check out our website at hnmparish.org There you will find copies of our parish bulletin and the latest infor-mation about our parish.) You will also find an Online Giving link. Click on the Online Giving link at the bottom of the list of topics. Our Online Giving program allows parishioners to continue to support the parish even when they are out-of-town, too busy to re-member an envelope, working weekends, or at-tending Mass at another parish. If you would like to learn more about this easy, safe and secure way of giving, please contact Michele Cote 909-599-1243 x 199 or Pat Joyce 909-599-1243 x 112 or check out our website at hnmparish.org or follow the simple instructions found on the website.
