CopSonic is a French start-up launched in September 2013.
CopSonic is developing a sonic and ultrasonic authentication technology which relies on a team of 14 engineers specialized in security, payments, and contactless sonic/ultrasonic communication protocols.
We perform proximity detection by exchanging encrypted sonic or ultrasonic waves. We currently address 4 markets (mobile payment, passwordless authentication, omni-channel retail, internet of things). In all cases the main idea is to use sonic or ultrasonic IDs to check the proximity of 2 smart devices to match them together. As any device equipped with at least a microphone or speakers is compatible with the solution, it is available for 100% of mobile phones, including feature phones. CopSonic is supplied as SDK compatible with all major platforms and can operate on any data or gsm network.

Business incubators are infrastructures housing start-ups and supporting the creation of businesses and employment (1,320 on-going businesses have been fostered, resulting in the creation of 7,400 new jobs in the Midi-Pyrenees region).
The incubators’ purpose is to offer business creators a pro-active environment, to facilitate the start-up and growth of their companies. These incubators offer business assistance focused on services and facilitating integration into the local economic fabric:
• Individualized assistance,
• Identifying and providing suitable, modular commercial real estate (offices, technical platforms, laboratories, workshops),
• Shared services to reduce costs,
• Stimulative environment.
Skills and areas of intervention:The Midi-Pyrenees business incubator network is made of 30 incubators, located in the main economic zones of the Midi-Pyrenees region. Some incubators are dedicated to accommodating innovative companies in the following areas:
