Mary Shepherd Circle In December, we provided refreshments for the
Center for Women, Children and Families for theReindeer Express. Over 400 families attended and over450 children were served. This is one of the missions wehave adopted for 2008-2009.
We are collecting stamps for the TransylvaniaPresbytery’s Stamp Out Hunger program. If you will
keep envelopes with stamps for us we will be happy tocut them out, or you can cut out the used stamps andgive them to any Mary Shepherd member. They will beturned in at the PWP Spring Gathering on April 18,2009. On December 17, 2008 we collected $178 whichstays with our local Presbytery to help fight hunger.
Mary Shepherd Circle’s main means of fund raising is from the use of the Kroger Card. If you would like tohelp us, please see Jane Pryor. You can get a card fromher and reload it as needed. A percentage of Krogersales are returned to us on a quarterly basis. It will costyou absolutely nothing, but will give money to our
church for missions, local projects such as Bible camp, and items we can donate to the church such as the new refrigerator.
