Important March Dates to rememeber!March 9th Daylight Savings Time Begins, Please set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed tonight. St. Patrick's Day is Monday March 17th. Please sign up to come join us in the Clubhouse for our annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. This year we will have D.J. Dan here to Entertain everyone. For all who came to our fantastic New Years Eve Party, you are sure to remember how wonderful D.J. Dan was. Bring your dancing Shoes!!DO YOU HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS??Please fill out a post card with your email address and drop it off in the Office, We just love keeping in touch with you!!Make Sure To Wear Green On St. Patrick's Day!People who were celebrating St. Patrick's Day back in the early 1700s believed that leprechauns would pinch anyone they could see. So as not to be "seen", party- goers started wearing green so they would blend into the scenery. It's a tradition that is still carried out today although the part about the leprechauns has pretty much gone by the wayside. We hope all of our residents are not bothered by those pesky leprechauns!A Home is...Where your dreams begin, where you feel safe, where you find encouragement and where your spirit is restored. We are so very happy you have chosen to make your home with us!

The Family Poet by R. Wayne Edwards
To exercise, for me, is tough
As all of you already know.
Today I stayed home from the gym
That now makes five years in a row.
Exercise is Tough
Drink Green on St. Patty’s Day Start your St. Patty’s Day with a nutritionally packed green martini made with leafy green vegetables and fruit.
Did you know that leafy green vegetables are missing in most modern diets? Nutritionally, greens are very high in vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, phosphorous, zinc and vitamins A, C, E and K. They are also jam packed with fiber, folic acid, chlorophyll and many other micronutrients and phytochemicals. Whenever possible, choose organic. But eating non-organic greens is much better than not eating any greens at all!
Some of the benefits of eating dark leafy greens include:• Blood purification • Cancer prevention • Improved circulation • Strengthened immune system • Promotion of healthy intestinal flora • Promotion of subtle, light and flexible energy • Lifted spirit and elimination of depression • Improved liver, gall bladder and kidney
function • Cleared congestion, especially in lungs by
reducing mucus
