As we enter the month of March we have many important dates coming up, so please make sure you check the boards and sign the field trip forms so your child can participate. You might have already noticed we are in the process of getting new cubbies for outside the classroom. Each child will get their own space for their coats and belongings. We are excited for the new cubbies to help it be more organized in the hallway. Papers will now be only on your child’s hook inside the classroom, so please make sure you check it daily. From the KELC Teachers:

From the Classroom:

Hello!

February was full of love and friendship as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with our friends

and Grandfriends. The children also enjoyed the ELI field trip to the Bop Stop. They heard a

story about a Bee looking for Bear, and each animal that Bee asked if they had seen Bear had

their own music that would match the way they moved. The music was on piano, flute, or a

cello. It was really interesting. They also learned how many keys are on a piano. (Ask your

child if they remember how many keys are on a piano. There are 88.) It is great to recall past

events. We have two ELI Trips in March. Please let us know in advance if you would like to

join us. We also started talking about pets. If anyone knows a veterinarian that would be

willing to come in and talk to the children, please let us know. Thanks!
