In the stamp dedicated to establishment of one of the most important institutions of the country - the national audit office.. postage stamp depicts fragments from its old documents.Vladas putvinskis-pūtvis, one of the founders of the rifle union.one of the first and biggest custom was Virbaliai custom. When russia was occupied by lithuania, it was coped with customs - many customs officers were deported to siberia, one was shot, some had to flee to the West. The activities of the lithuanian customs as an independent institution symbolizing the sovereignty of the state were terminated.

The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania declared 2019 the year of samogitia. The resolution he adopted emphasizes the decisive importance of samogitia in the 13th-14th centuries of lithuania and the Baltic sea. in the history of the formation of the states, the german order commits the conquests of the curonian and prussian tribes, and also the role of samogitia in the history of europe in 1236–1422. The 200-year battle with the order for the defense of its land and freedom, its contribution to the victory of the sun and the durbe battles, ensuring the strengthening of the grand duchy of lithuania, protecting the latvian and Estonian lands from the Prussian fate.

on 1918 february 16 was restored lithuania state. for its sovereignty had to fight the weapon. These fights was very important for lithuania.

The lithuanian armed anti-soviet resistance started in the summer of 1944. The organized fight was going on until 1953. in 1953, the partisan movement’s structures were liquidated by the soviets. The first partisan units were created in the end of the summer of 1944. later, they formed some bigger structures of the armed resistance movement: military companies, partisan military districts and partisan military regions. The partisan leaders seek to unite all the partisan military territorial structures for establishing a centralized organization, which would coordinate the political and military fight to liberate lithuania.
