Special Lenten Offering Purchases Meals for “Feed My Starving Children”
Look for the special offering collection box outside the Worship Center on Sunday mornings and Sunday and
Wednesday evenings during Lent. The offering will be used to raise funds for a Feed My Starving Children
meal-packing event to be held April 25 & 26 at Holmes Junior High in Cedar Falls.
The Cedar Falls Ministerial Association of Churches is sponsoring the event. Their goal is to raise $21,000 to
purchase supplies for 100,000 meal packs.
Your donations will be greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to Nazareth Lutheran Church (write
“FMSC” in the memo line). Look for opportunities to sign up to pack meals at a later date.

Greeters Needed Easter Morning
Singles, couples, and families are needed to serve as
greeters at every door for all three services on Easter
Sunday, April 20. Volunteers need to arrive 15 minutes

Make Prayer Shawls for Confirmands
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is seeking knitters to make
prayer shawls that will be given to confirmands at the
Rite of Confirmation on May 4. A pattern for
confirmation shawls is available at the Welcome Desk
on Sundays or at the church office during the week.
Ten shawls are needed. Please return completed
shawls to Lori Haag in the church office by April 27.
Job Foundation Seeks Volunteersfor April 4 Event at Nazareth
The Job Foundation is a Nazareth-supported
mentoring program for disadvantaged young people in
Waterloo. On Friday, April 4 from 6:00-8:30 p.m..,
Nazareth will host a recognition event for the students.
Volunteers are needed to greet, set tables, and
prepare baked treats. Sign up today at the Welcome
