We have 7 elevators in our main facility and one hydraulic unit in an off-site building. I am very pleased with the professionalism, experience, expertise and response to all our elevator needs. We always have our required monthly service checks and the technicians are very skilled. We recently upgraded some of the elevator control components and the project was completed on time and within budget. We had good communication on the progress of the project and had very little disruption to the service. The coordination between Abell and the state inspector made for a very smooth transition back to normal service. I come to this conclusion based on past experiences with other vendors. If I need service, Abell comes. No questions and no excuses. As a health care provider, that component is very valuable. Abell provides documentation within minutes of any visit. This documentation is critical to maintaining compliance with the many regulations for hospitals. I would like to pass along a compliment to your team.

I am the Construction Manager here at Prysmian Cable Systems in Claremont, NC.

You recently had Kevin and Cody here installing a freight elevator and I am very impressed with the work they did.

During their visits, they were the first on site, the last to leave, demonstrated an impeccable work ethic, and were very

easy to work with.

Kevin discovered that the shaft was out of alignment and would require substantial rework before he could proceed. He

was patient, helpful, and did everything he could to assist our steelworkers in making those changes. During assembly of

the elevator, I was constantly amazed by what these two men were able to accomplish on their own. They were skilled,

prepared, and committed to building a quality product. Furthermore, I am responsible for the safety policy here and out

of the lO0's of men on this site, Kevin and Cody demonstrated respect for that policy and the safety of each other. I

cannot make this same claim about any other contractor that's worked here in the last 8 months.

It was a pleasure to have them here, to see them work, and we are confident in the work they did.

I have recently perfbrrncd semi-annual saf-ety inspections at SSC on 6gearless traction elevators and one hyclraulic unit. I would offerseveral cornments frorn rny safety inspections:

l. I was very impressecl with the operations ol'elevators I through 4while on group operation, the system operated properly on the demands ofthe elevator calls as designed, which allows {irr less wait time forpassengel's awaiting an elevator.

2. Even though I do not perfonn maintenance inspections, the ASME Al7.lSafety Standards state that all elevator will be maintained inaccordance with Section 8.6.

I was very irnpressed with the high level of maintenance that was beingperformed on these units to include related clevator equipment.

I have not completed the annual inspection o1'the elevator hoistingcables, however when conrplete I will notily you of any deficiencies.
