The Health and Wellness Ministry is looking for volunteers who can provide

transportation for St. Mark members.

We need drivers to deliver meals to members who have had recent surgeries

or health concerns. The meals have already been prepared and frozen for easy

re-heating, thanks to St. Mark’s FROGs group.

We also need drivers to take members to and from appointments for

treatment sessions.

If you are able to help out with transportation, please let Pr. Brian or Kim Ott

([email protected] or 618-530-1186) know.

If you are in need of meals or transportation to/from doctor appointments, please let

us know. We also have a wheelchair available for temporary use.

Help needed: The furniture in the old kitchen/youth room in the office/

education building is in dire need of replacement. A nearly new couch

has been donated; however, it needs to be picked up and

delivered. Anyone young, strong people with a truck available? Let Pr.

Brian or Kim Ott know! (618) 530-1186.

Weekly Health Tip from CDC.gov

Getting enough sleep helps prevent chronic diseases and promotes overall health. Take a few minutes to assess your sleeping habits and make any necessary changes to ensure you are getting the best quantity and quality of sleep that you can.

• Are you going to bed at the same time each night and rising at the same time each morning?

• Are you sleeping in a quiet, dark, and relaxing environment, which is neither too hot nor too cold?

• Have you made your bed comfortable?

• Do you use the bedroom only for sleeping and not for other activities, such as reading, watching TV, or using the computer?

• Do you avoid large meals before bedtime?

Gift Cards! Check with Jan D., Evelyn D. or Melanie R. after church for gift cards available for purchase through the TURTLEs youth group. The TURTLEs get a % of each order!
