Canada’s National Ballet School is the world’s most progressive ballet training institution, and the annual Gala is NBS’ signature fundraising event of the year The Gala raises funds to support the more than 80% of students who require financial assistance to attend the Professional Ballet-Academic Program, and opens doors for more young dancers to pursue their dreams It also makes the transformational benefits of dance more accessible to people of all ages and abilities, supporting the development of specialized programs, teaching resources and innovative technological enhancements that propel NBS Sharing Dance, the School’s flagship community initiative
Last year’s Gala welcomed more than 500 high net-worth individuals, organizations and business leaders from a broad range of industry sectors, and raised $900,000 for Canada’s National Ballet School Every year, guests relish the opportunity to watch the next generation of dance artists in a special performance, and leave inspired by the ways dance can enrich everyone’s life
We invite you to take a leadership position among the Gala’s guests by becoming a Sponsor, Table Host, Ticket Purchaser or Event Donor Don’t miss this opportunity to embrace your GLAM ROCK style and help NBS’ world-leading dance programs reach new heights
ABOUT GLAM ROCKGlam rock is a style of rock and fashion that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s. Visually it was a mesh of various styles manifesting itself in outrageous clothes, makeup, glitter, animal prints, spikes & studs as well as platform-soled boots and big hairstyles.
