March 8th is International Women's Day. A new movement is spreading across the world, from Poland to Argentina, from New York to Hong Kong, from Spain to Nigeria to Australia. We, too, see reason to strike and say:

Enough is enough! Let's strike together on 8 March!

For all women* and genders; nonconforming, queer and non-binary peo-ple:who are tired of being sexually harassed, discriminated against and as-saulted, who have suffered violence and are not believed.who are hungry and cannot pay for the heating, who live in poverty in old age.whose work is not appreciated, who earn less than men and do at home a a second shift of cooking, cleaning and caretaking.who suffer from cuts in benefits or poverty wages.who are confronted with violence by the state through racist policing, im-migration policy or deportations.who have to look after their children without support. who finally want to determine themselves what happens to their bodies.who no longer want to be defined as one of two genders.whom society disables in everyday life. And for many, many more.

What unites us all is the power to withdraw our paid and unpaid work! Therefore, on March 8, 2019, we refuse to work - in the office, on the street and in the household. We support each other so that we can all par-ticipate in this global strike.

Therefor, from 15 to 17 February, we want to meet again in Berlin as a nationwide movement, discuss, learn from each other and get in the mood for the strike on 8 March. The meeting will not only be interesting for those who are already organizing a women's*/feminist strike, but also for those who want to join now.

The programme so far includes panel discussions with international guests, workshops on different ways to strike in the various fields, on concrete skills and common forms of expression. At the end on Sunday we want to take to the streets together!
