Environmental problems
• Outdoor marijuana cultivation is harmful to the environment. It negatively affects wildlife, vegetation, water, soil, and other natural resources because of chemicals, fertilizers, terracing, and poaching.
Water in marijuana production
There is different methods of growing marijuana but many growers use the hydroponics method because state laws limit the number of plant the grower can grow.
Marijuana transportation
• In 2002 the American government found more than 10,000 metric tons of marijuana but they estimated that about 20,000 metric tons got to the USA.
Chemicals in marijuana
• Marijuana mostly contains THC but it also contains about other 400 chemicals.
• The THC level has being increasing because people are using different methods to grow it.
• Also the have made different strains of marijuana.
Common effects of marijuana
• The short-term effects of marijuana include:
• loss of motor coordination
• increased heart rate.
• distorted perception
• trouble with thinking and problem-solving
• problems with memory and learning
Packaging materials
• The packaging materials are paper bags, and plastic sealed bags paper bags are recyclable but many of the plastic bags people use to transport marijuana are not recyclable.
Uses of marijuana
• Marijuana is used in different ways some people use it to calm down.
• Some people use it because they have a sickness.
• For example: Anxiety, Asthma, Back Pain, Body Buzz, Calming, Relaxing, Clear Head, Couch Lock.
