This working waterfront is home to tall ships, schooners, dories and fishing vessels. Our floating docks provide free daytime berthing, as available. We also offer overnight and long-term berthing options.

Lunenburg Marina VISITOR’S GUIDE

Stroll the streets lined with charming 18th and 19th century architecture and experience the authenticity of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ships that call Lunenburg home: three-masted barque Picton Castle; Spirit of Adventure, skippered by round-the-world solo sailor Derek Hatfield; and iconic schooner Bluenose II, Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador (bluenose.novascotia.ca).
Take in the numerous sights and sounds on this working waterfront, from wooden schooners in mid-build at the Dory Shop or vessels under repair to fresh seafood catches being unloaded at the wharves.
