• After successfully managing the sea food export business for 18 years and gaining

experience in maintaining boats and propulsion systems, the company decided to

expand into distribution of marine engine.

• The company identified the “Mariner” range of Kerosene operated Outboard

Motors (OBMs) which were highly reliable to help its goal of modernizing the

traditional fishing segment.

• In 1986, Marine Power International, USA (a Brunswick Company) – the

manufacturer of Mariner OBMs appointed Esmario as the sole distributor for their

Mariner OBMs in India.
