MarineService carries out all types of engine work, including

repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation of engines. MarineService performs renovation tasks on vessels in operation.

Renovation of engine parts

MarineService carries out renovation/machining of engine parts

e.g. repair of cylinder heads, piston rods, cylinder linings, turbochargers, radiators, regulators, thermostats, pumps and valves

Gearboxes

MarineService carries out work on all types of gearboxes

Steering gear

MarineService can repair all types of steering gear, including

dismounting, disconnection, machining, and mounting.

Laser alignment

MarineService has specially developed laser equipment which enables measurement of shaft lines, alignment of diesel engines, gear, pumps, rudder, etc. The measurement is documented by printouts.

Mobile machining

MarineService has a wide range of special equipment. Often mobile milling equipment is manufactured specifically for the individual job.

MarineService has developed and manufactured mobile boring and machining equipment for the boring of stern tubes, rudder neck bearings, rudder horn, etc as well as on-site machining of shafts worldwide. Furthermore, we carry out levelling/milling of foundations and flat surfaces.

Steel and welding

MarineService has certified welders who are specially trained and can

work with all types of steel and stainless steel.

MarineService has welding experience with TIG, MIG, MAG as well as electrode welding. Steel constructions and mounting of exhaust systems on diesel engines are only a few of some of the welding jobs we have carried out.
