Arts Society International Percussion Ensemble Competition resulting in a Showcase Concert at the PAS International Convention in Indianapolis. One of the works performed was the premier of my composition, IE2.

Sounds of the Holidays Concert: Twelve Drummers Drumming.
2016 The UNT Percussion Ensemble won the 2016 Percussive Arts Society International Percussion Ensemble Competition resulting in a Showcase Concert at the PAS International Convention in Indianapolis. This is a distinct honor and this is the second time that UNT has won this competition. The ensemble performed five premiers by established composers resulting in a standing ovation from percussionists from around the world.

2015 The UNT Percussion Ensemble performed with percussion artist Casey
Cangelosi, UNT. 2014 I coordinated the UNT Drum Line’s travel and concerts on a tour of Poland
culminating with concerts at the 23rd Annual Drum Fest, in Opole, Poland. 10 UNT student marimbists also traveled with the group and participated in the Polish International Marimba Competition. UNT students placed second and third in the competition.
2013 The UNT Percussion Ensemble performed with the UNT A Cappella Choir
at concerts in Dallas and at UNT. 2013 The UNT Percussion Ensemble toured three cities in Poland and a featured
performance at the Croatian International Percussion Ensemble Festival. 2012 The UNT 2:00 Steel Band performance at the PAS International Convention

2009 The UNT Percussion Ensemble won the PAS International Percussion Ensemble Competition. The UNT Gamelan also won the PAS World Percussion Ensemble Competition. Both ensembles performed a showcase at PASIC 2009 in Indianapolis, IN.
2007 The UNT Percussion Ensemble traveled to France and performed three
concerts, one at the Conservatory in Aleçon and two concerts in Paris at the National Conservatory of Music.
2006 UNT Percussion Ensemble featured ensemble with the UNT Wind
Symphony at PASIC performing Bruce Yurko’s Concerto for Percussion.
2005 Establishment of the UNT Gamelan: premier performance at the UNT Global Rhythms Concert on April 21, 2005.
2003 UNT Percussion Ensemble performance with virtuoso marimbist Keiko Abe in Denton and Lawton, Oklahoma.
2002 The UNT Drum Line was featured in a Drummer's Heritage Concert at
PASIC, Columbus, Ohio. 2001 UNT performance with composer/conductor Marcello Abbado in conjunction
with the Van Cliburn Foundation, UNT campus.
2000 UNT Percussion Ensemble performance at the 2000 PAS International Convention in Dallas, Texas. This performance was in support of my clinic on Percussion Ensemble Literature.
1999 ECU Percussion Ensemble featured on the CD, Athletic Conveyances,
performing Walter Hartley’s Concerto for Tuba and Percussion Ensemble.
1997 The Percussive Arts Society invited the East Carolina University Percussion Ensemble to perform a showcase concert at the 1998 PAS International Convention, Orlando, Florida. This invitation was selected from a “Call for Tapes” by college percussion ensembles throughout the US.
1997 The ECU Percussion Ensemble performed at the Southern Division MENC
Conference in Nashville, TN.
