Alan C. Baker - Biography
Mr. Baker has a 35 year international career, including P&L responsibility formanufacturing, process industry and engineered product firms with up to 600employees. He formed Crown Point Consultants (CPC) in 2002 to focus on:1) Complex proposals for federal government contractors2) Small business capitalization and growth3) Support to regional manufacturing and process industry firmsCPC now serves a diverse, nationwide base of large and small government contractorsand commercial/industrial firms.
Mr. Baker is a Director of “Engine”, and he leads membership recruitment. He hasprovided “pro bono” support to TSBDC. He holds a B.Sc. in Applied Mineral Sciencesfrom Leeds University in England, and he is a dual United States/British national. Mr.Baker has lived and worked in England, Australia, South Africa, and the USA, and he hascompleted extensive business and project development in Asia, the Middle East andMexico.

Stephen Williams - Biography
Mr. Williams is the founder of Engine – MFG, and he leads “Engine” through fostering collectiveimpact and cross-collaboration among different industry types. He has more than 25 years ofexperience in international manufacturing firms, securing international purchasing agreements,reducing inventory cash requirements and purchasing turnarounds and expenses. Mr. Williamshas established joint ventures in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France and the U.K., and he hasnegotiated relationships with GE, ABB, Reliance Electric, General Dynamics, WestinghouseElectric and Eastern Electric Company. He currently owns Stone Lion Capital Partners, a boutiquemanagement and private equity firm, advising on finance, turnarounds, management, duediligence and M&A.
Mr. Williams studied business administration at Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee andhas completed business courses at Vanderbilt, Harvard, the University of Chicago, and TuftsUniversity. He has completed Qualpro statistical training in multiple disciplines.

Regional Engine-MFG is formed for the purpose of establishing a regionally focus membership organization for manufacturing companies in East Tennessee
Member driven, member supported, with focus placed on manufacturers (large to small) in the East Tennessee region
Providing a clear and unified voice to make collective impact within the region
Create a member environment to facilitate collaboration, innovation, and the sharing of industry best practices
Mission
Regional Engine-MFG as a collaborative consortium of large, medium and small manufacturers in East Tennessee. Its focus is to connect manufacturers’ needs with manufacturing resources to strengthen and keep competitive the East Tennessee regional manufacturing cluster.
