Screen Ruling: 133lpiResolution: 300 dpi(never less than 300 dpi)

E-mail: Ads can be emailed as Press Prepared (X-1a) PDF filesin CMYK at 300dpi.

Ads with a file size bigger than 20MB can be emailed as zippedor compressed files to below 20MB.

Courier: Ads with a file size bigger than 20MB can be suppliedon CD and sent to our offices, if emailing the ad isn’t possible.

ftp or Websend: Ads with a file size bigger than 20MB canbe sent via ftp or websend.

NB! Ad material supplied on disk or electronically shouldbe accompanied by a colour correct printed proof (Iris orChromalin). If not, then we cannot be held responsible forcolour variance.

Ads with bleed and ads without bleedNo Bleed: Ad is designed so that there is a 10mm white border around it when placed on the page. (The size specs are indicated by the coloured area.) e.g. A full page ad – No Bleed: will be (228mm x 320mm), leaving 10mm of white space all around when seen on the page.

With Bleed: Ad background runs over the edge of the page by 3mm. But the important information should still be within the ViSiBlE area of the page (shown by the solid black outline). To be safe, a suggestion would be to keep the text and logo 10mm to 15mm within the edges of the page. Only the background can go beyond the edges of the page by 3mm.e.g. A full page ad with Bleed (248mm x 340mm) will become (254mm x 346mm)

NB!! The 3mm bleed of the background is cropped off at the printers, so it is NOT VISIBLE on the printed page, but is needed to be included in the design.
