What is Happening to the Market?

The real estate market has gone in a direction which has

never before been experienced in Southern California.

Inventory lately has remained stable due to moratoriums

and government intervention to hinder the foreclosure

process; the market is still flooded with a very high

amount of REO and Short Sale inventory.

As a result, buyers have many choices and it is more

important to make sure no possible buyers are lost.

Many investors are deciding to purchase homes at

auction instead of traditional methods.

It means the market is in a state of limbo but appears as if it could be heading

towards another decline.

Depending on what happens with the foreclosure inventory, prices might be in

line for another dip.

If interest rates continue to go up, many buyers will again be pushed out of the

market also causing prices to drop.
