The Key Word is SOCIAL

•All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

•It’s not about the school- it’s about the people at the school.

•Tailor the content to the forum.

Where does my content come from?

1. Let others do it for you. Share updates on Facebook to your page. Retweet relevant or just plain interesting tweets. Invite colleagues and students to give you news to share.

2. Let people know what’s going on around you. Share updates and photos from events. Talk about the what’s going on at that time of year. Tell people what you’re working on.

3. Check the standard news outlets. Use the Athens Banner-Herald website and the Red & Black. Check CNN. Look at the websites of magazines. Or just choose the right people to follow on Twitter.

4. Think about what your audience would like to hear. Have you shared something relevant to all your target groups recently?
