We uploaded our trailer onto YouTube as it is a good social platform to promote our film because it it used by our target audience on a daily basis. On YouTube our audiences may have accounts which enables them to like or dislike our trailer, also they have the

Opportunity to give us feedback about the trailer. YouTube is available worldwide which is beneficial for our trailer because different audiences can view our trailer, for example in the USA or China. Also YouTube is available on different platforms; smartphones, Wii, Xbox live and PlayStation 3 this gives the audience more opportunity to watch the trailer and not just watch it on their laptop/computer.

Facebook is a huge platform with over one billion users worldwide. The one billion users allows us to promote our film trailer to all Facebook users around the world and our intended target audience. As producers and distributors that

Facebook is the new craze they make a official page, which users have to like. The users can find themselves looking at behind the scene footage, images from shooting the film and bloopers. Advertising a film on a Facebook can be very beneficial, also it adds more publicity for the film as more audiences will be encouraged to watch it.

Tumblr is a micro blogging platform and social networking website. In 2013 it has 96.1 million blogs, I think that by putting our trailer of Tumblr this will be beneficial to our group. Tumblr is similar to YouTube in terms of you can see how many views there have been.

It also gives users to share our trailer which gives us more publicity. It also gives the user to opportunity to follow in which they gain more information about the trailer ‘The Tormented’.

Twitter has over 200 million users worldwide. Twitter has become as popular as Facebook. Twitter can be used for a range of tasks as people use it follow their favourite celebrities, films and many more things. We made a twitter account to update our followers of what we

are doing and tell our fans of any events that our cast are participating in such as interviews on TV and radio and autograph signings at different venues nationally and internationally.
