You will be responsible for helping to ensure that a large fleet of mainly heavy plant equipment remains permanently in optimum condition to meet the global requirements of our Armed Forces in the East Region; from cranes and access platforms, to earthmovers, rough terrain forklift trucks and dump trucks. This will involve working to agreed performance targets, servicing and maintaining equipment and carrying out regular in-depth inspections and refurbishments.
Preferably you will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in mechanical engineering; however more important is experience of heavy plant mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and servicing to meet stringent customer quality expectations and deadlines.
In return for delivering groundbreaking customer service, we offer an attractive salary with the potential for overtime plus ongoing training and skills development.
Work van included for commuting and attending breakdowns as required.
