Our Sponsorship Sub-Committee received approval from our Board to provide $66,000 in Sponsorships and Grants over the next 12 months. This means Maroondah Community Enterprises Limited has provided over $600,000 to our local community groups since we opened. We will sponsor over 50 groups this year. Congratulations to them all. Sponsorship Allocations Churches Other Schools Service Groups Sporting Clubs While Sponsorship applications have closed, Grants for smaller amount are open for the whole year. Together with the $215,000 in dividends to our Shareholders we have now returned over $800,000 to our local community of Maroondah. Staff Corner. Congratulations to Annette Parry (Manager Ringwood East Branch) and her husband Ryan who celebrated the safe arrival of Olivia Lea on 3 rd May. Mother and family are well. Olivia is the latest addition since Tracey (Ringwood East CSO) Harward’s son Sam was born back on 30 th March 2008. Do you know our staff? A Community Hub Building was top priority and our Major Projects Sub- Committee is in discussions with various groups on this long term project. Education programs were also identified as a requirement. We are pleased to announce that we have since taken up the opportunity to sponsor a Road and Driver Safety Program that has and will visit a number of schools and Junior Sporting Groups to deliver the Road & Driver Safety message.
