Oxygen Supply

• Have oxygen tank.• Enough oxygen to support 500

people for six months.• Brought up in liquid form.• Heated up to gas form.• Giant greenhouse with trees

and plants.• Two vents, one pushing

oxygen into colony, and one sucking out the carbon dioxide.

• Another two vents doing the exact opposite of the vents in the colony.

Food Service

• Basic food supplies will be brought up.

• After the gravity is activated, the robots will plant wheat, rye, and corn.

• People will bring up additional crops when they come up to the colony.

• There will also be chickens, pigs, goats, and later, cows.

• (Use oxygen given off by the crops to breathe).

Energy Supply

• Use fuel cells.• The cells will be run

off of hydrogen.• The hydrogen will

come from, wind, solar, and geothermal power.

• Use the fuel cells to supply heat, oxygen, and distilled water.

Water Distribution

• Bring liquid water to Mars with people.

• Polar ice caps in the North and South Poles.

• Most water in caps is frozen carbon dioxide.

• There might be some ice underground, or there may even be liquid water.

• Once we have enough water, we can create an artificial lake.

• Using water filters, we can recycle waste water.

Transportation

• Inside colony people will ride bikes and walk.

• Outside of colony, we will use rovers, hovercrafts, and small transportation pods to transport us to Mars’s moon Dactyl.

• The rovers must be able to have room to store cargo.

Protection

• The dome will be made of plexus- glass.

• It will be reinforced with iron bars.

• The sides of the colony will be made of aluminum.

• This will be reinforced with iron bars and plywood.

• There will be a shatter-proof layer of plexus- glass to protect the top from meteors.
