Martha is the only candidate for Superior Court Judge who has prior judicial experience, and is the only candidate to have been elected into public office. Martha has served as the Municipal Court Judge in both Oliver and Newington. Martha was elected twice as the State Court Solicitor for Screven County. In Municipal Court, there are always two sides to the story. Martha has the desire and work ethic to be fair, patient and tough. As a judge, Martha will look out for the best interest of all citizens. Martha has and will continue to listen to all parties concerned. For offenders who deserve and need a second chance, Martha will work with law enforcement, the individual, and the family in order to provide an avenue for rehabilitation. As Superior Court Judge, Martha will use her diverse experience to protect our children, our families, and our neighbors. A judge must truly know one’s story in order to be fair and right in her decision. One must be able to listen to both sides, without a preset agenda or opinion, in order to best serve our community.
