Martin Memo Perkins Staff Communication September 23, 2013 Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. --Tony Robbins Moving Forward!!! As we MOVE FORWARD in thinking about our own professional and personal goals, we must not leave behind our children in this process. They too have goals and dreams. And there is not a single child in our care that does not want to experience personal success. Tony Robbins, renown motivational speaker, says The most important thing you can do to achieve your goals is to make sure that as soon as you set them, you immediately begin to create momentum. The most important rules that I ever adopted to help me in achieving my goals were those I learned from a very successful man who taught me to first write down the goal, and then to never leave the site of setting a goal without first taking some form of positive action toward its attainment.  Our children look to us as unofficial role models and it is our job to not only help them set their own SMART goals. It s our job to help them achieve the invisible and impossible! Environmental Walkthrough 9.20.2013 In my walkthrough, I asked t wo questions:  What environmental artifacts illustrate high levels of student engagement and teaching and learning?  What environmental artifacts illustrate best practices ? I have uploaded additional pictures from this walkthrough and am asking you to take a few moments to reflect on these questions as you view them. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/lz2jmpd
