Mary Ann Waugh, 88, of Beaumont, died March 28, 2019, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on November 23, 1930, to Bessie Gallo Brocato and Sam Brocato, in Beaumont. Mary was an avid Canasta player throughout the years and loved playing poker. She cherished her family gatherings on Sunday at the house cooking her infamous spaghetti dinner.
Survivors include her son, Steve Waugh and his wife, Linda, of Beaumont; daughters,
Angie Ashley and her husband, Mike, of Dallas; Teresa Grillo and her husband, Robert, of Washington; and Margaret Miles and Diana Waugh, both of Beaumont; sister, Pat Davis and her husband, T. K., of Lumberton; brothers, Sam Brocato, Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of Warren; and Charles Brocato and his wife, Ginger, of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Brian Waugh and his wife, Dori; Brandon Waugh; Jeremy Grillo and his wife, Amy; Misty Milton; and Jonathan Ashley; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny Brocato; sister, Rose Blackwell; and grandson, Brad Waugh.
