    Gabriel“Greetings ... the Lord is w/ you! ... Do not be afraid, for you have found favor w/ God. And behold, you will conceive ... and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David ... and of his kingdom there will be no end.”

    •Mary sings of glorious deeds of redemption(“his mercy is for those who fear him”)• To fear means: cherished reverence and respect.

    It is not to be afraid in the traditional sense, but to honor him by striving to do what pleases him.
