11 RCCs already functioning… expecting this number to exceed 30 this year.

11 Schools, 11 SMCs, 11 villages and their villagers have shown tremendous commitment and responsibility.

Apart from indirect benefits it has provided direct employment to 44 village youths.

14 SMCs with clearly set demand charter successfully convinced the district education department. In the process got approval of 11 RCCs in four blocks.

455 children enrolled in RCC have been provided insurance cover from United Insurance Company

Capacity building has been a consistent effort. Two SMCs training and two staff trainings has helped in

better plan and management.

132 SMCs and village meetings conducted for proper functioning of RCCs.

4 SMCs have been provided with financial support before sanction of RCC fund from Government.

Provided Identity Cards to all children Public dissemination of social maps and RCC

information done. Covered 1,679 families through migration register in 96

villages.

4 Block level and 1 district level BRCC meetings have been conducted for further support to BRCCs and CRCCs.

All 11 SMCs work very closely with the CRC and the headmaster to ensure quality in the school.

All records are in proper place and well maintained in 11 RCC properly.

We are delighted to have got positive feedbacks on RCC management from the AIF team, New Delhi.

The SMCs of Banjenmunda rejected 4 non migrant children from school and excused himself to run the RCC under SMC

1. To develop awareness shelter among SMC and community plan to capture the provision of RTE, SDP, and to ensure the regular education to all migrant child in district.

2. Sensitize to PRI representatives and local intellectuals to develop[p regular social monitoring and supervision of school and role duty of SMC.

3. Time to time create scopes for special events like child fair, child competition, SMC get to gather etc among child, SMC and villagers

4. Block wise SMC federation must important to convergence and create people centered advocacy on education.

5. Create scope for legal and safe migration through registration, study, I. card etc.

People coming together: SMCs have come a big way. In this case they successfully intervened for management of seasonal hostel at Biripali. They are closely working with school teachers, including headmaster. Better communication helping…

Building RCCs with care: BRCC, CRCC and education trainers are providing guideline inputs to all HMs before functioning of the RCCs. This photo shows the HM speaking which lead to further bolster committed action towards migrant children.

Joint action but unique interventions: Meeting convened by district planning coordinator discussed and called for to begin RCCs through own innovative ideas to bridge gap between children and education.
