Children’s Church DESPERATELY needs new volunteers! I have heard from many parishioners how much they value Children’s Church. It can only continue if we have new volunteers. Each volunteer is asked to facilitate once a month. At present we do not have enough teams (two adults per weekend) to facilitate Children’s Church at both the 9am and 11am Masses for 2019-2020.
Please consider signing up for a 6 month trial of this ministry using the application form at the door of the Children’s Church room. Children’s Church is a simple easy to follow program and you will receive personal step by step training. If you are a parishioner who values what this program offers to our parish, please consider this as a personal appeal to supporting it as a facilitator.

L'Église des Enfants a TELLEMENT besoin de nouveaux bénévoles! De nombreux paroissiens m'ont dit combien ils apprécient l'Église des Enfants. Nous ne pouvons continuer que si nous avons de nouveaux bénévoles. Chaque volontaire est demandé d'animer une fois par mois. Présentement, nous n'avons pas assez d'équipes (deux adultes par fin de semaine) pour animer l'Église des Enfants aux messes de 9h et 11h pour 2019-2020. S'il vous plaît, envisagez de vous inscrire pour un essai de 6 mois de ce ministère en utilisant le formulaire de demande à la porte de la salle de l'Église des Enfants. L’Église des Enfants est un programme simple et facile à suivre et vous recevrez une formation personnelle étape par étape. Si vous êtes un(e) paroissien(ne) qui apprécie ce que ce programme offre à notre paroisse, veuillez considérer ceci comme un appel personnel à le soutenir comme un facilitateur.

Our parish is vibrant because of our parishioners who, following Jesus’ call to all the baptised to go and make disciples, choose to volunteer in our parish and in our community. How is the Spirit calling you? Come see what ministries are available in our parish and consider signing up for a new exciting ministry! Ministry members will be on hand to answer questions so come check it out! Everyone regardless of their age is challenged to actively take part according to their gifts.

Communion to our Shut-ins Those who are unable to attend mass are invited to receive Holy Communion on the first Friday of each month. One of the parish Eucharistic Ministers will gladly visit the homes of our shut-ins. If you are not receiving this monthly service or know someone who would like to have their name added to our list, please contact the parish office at 519-687-3118.
Did you know? Our church is equipped with a “Listen System” for those who are having difficulty hearing. If you
think this might help you, please ask one of the ushers before mass if you can borrow one of the two portable hearing devices which amplify the microphone sounds through an ear piece. Of course you will be required to return it to the usher after mass. The device only works in the church.

Adoration du Très Saint-Sacrement Le premier vendredi du mois, nous aurons l’adoration du Saint-Sacrement dans la chapelle de jour entre 9h et 14h. Nous invitons tous nos paroissien(ne)s de venir passer du temps en prière ce vendredi le 6 septembre. Une feuille de présence sera en place, afin de nous assurer qu’il y aura toujours quelqu’un de présent avec Jésus.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament On the first Friday of the month, parishioners are invited to spend some quiet time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place following morning mass in the day chapel, beginning at 9:00 am until 2:00 pm on September 6th. A sign-up sheet will ensure that someone will always be in prayer before the Lord.
