Mother Theresa’s ANYWAY prayer

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of

selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build it anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway.

Breathe in Love,

Exhale Peace.

WEDDING GUIDELINES We recently discovered we did not have updated

wedding guidelines and turned to Stephanie Selmer for help She provided a Diocesan approved draft in less than one week. We and the two couples who will be married at our church this summer and fall thank her for her industrious efforts.

MANY THANKS ARE IN ORDER Many thanks are in order for the dozens of parishioners who donated time and/or goods two weekend’s ago for the Liturgical activities and retreat. The parish responded in a faithful and compassionate manner not only to honor a fellow parishioner but also participate in an inspiring retreat. We cannot list everyone but we thank Eileen for organizing the retreat, Lynn Vajda for coordinating the funeral, Andrea for preparing the bulletins, Carol and the choir for their joyful voices, Joe Sychertz for shepherding the ushers, and especially Peg Meushaw and her kitchen crew. It was an arduous weekend for her and her ladies preparing the reception and two dinners. Once again, we have honored Christ with our concern for each other. Father Robert

LIVING OUR MISSION CAMPAIGN UPDATE After a few months of wrangling over administrative errors with the Diocese, we believe our figures are now correct and our parishioners are receiving timely notices of due dates for pledge payments. Our final total of pledges is $198,370, of which $98,930 has been donated to date. If you believe you are still experiencing difficulties with the process, please contact the office. Father Robert

CONGRATULATIONS Our Shelley and her husband Genji

welcomed Blaise Edward Katsuki into this world on April 4, 2016. He

weighed in at 7lbs and 2oz and was 20 inches long. We are very excited and

proud of their new addition. God Bless!

SCRIPTURE REFLECTION RSVP

“It has been decided by the Holy Spirit and us….” God’s people have always been aware of this

Advocate—Paraclete, Holy Spirit—teaching and reminding them of their main job. Their work is to lead one

another to do right before the trinitarian God and so gain entrance to the holy city, New Jerusalem, shining with glory. The Holy

Trinity creates us, guides us on the way, and prepares our heavenly home: God’s wedding feast. Respond if you please!
