DESCRIPTION

The master responds to the growing use of high-throughput omics techniques, both in the context of biomedical research and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology in-dustries, and to the increasing demand for highly qualified professionals in this field.

The program covers genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, interactomics and integromics and provides knowledge of the most import-ant techniques for omic data acquisition and analysis. The students will be able to ana-lyze omics data information using appropri-ate statistical and bioinformatics tools.

The teaching methodology, in collaboration with re-search centers and companies in the field, will en-sure that a wide range of applications are covered.

*A wide range of applications will be covered mainly by external collaborators from research enters and companies: Genomics of monogenic and complex diseases (cancer) / Genetic variability of viruses (VIH) / Nutrigenomics / Neurogenomics / Pharmacogenomics / Genomics and animal breeding / Genomics and Aging / Genomics and Food science / Biodiversity / Molecular evolution analysis
