El máster comienza con el estudio de paisajes diversos, combinando salidas de campo con sesiones de laboratorio, clases teóricas, y la elaboración y presentación de informes. Como la variedad paisajística y territorial es casi inabarcable, el objetivo no es sólo comprender los casos estudiados, sino enseñar a interpretar un paisaje o territorio cualquiera.

El profesional del medio ambiente debe conocer un número suficiente de metodologías y técnicas específicas que, sin ser propiamente gestoras, fundamentan, posibilitan o apoyan la gestión sostenible.

Los temas abordados incluyen el marco socioeconómico en el que se desenvuelve la gestión, la revisión de los principales problemas y retos ambientales en la actualidad, el trabajo ambiental de empresas de muy diversos sectores (explotaciones agroganaderas, minería y canteras, energía, industria, construcción, logística y transporte, turismo y ocio) y el papel de las distintas administraciones públicas.

LANDSCAPE
The Master’s degree begins by studying different landscapes, combining field trips with laboratory sessions, lectures and the preparation and presentation of reports. As it is practically impossible to cover the great landscape and territorial variety, the aim is not just to understand the cases studied, but also to teach how to interpret any landscape or territory.

AND TECHNIQUES
Environmental professionals must know sufficient specific techniques and methodologies which, although not actually management-based, lay the foundations for, make possible or support sustainable development.
MODULE 3.
SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT
The topics addressed include the social and economic framework that surrounds management, the review of today’s main environmental problems and challenges, the environmental work
of companies from many different sectors (agriculture and livestock farms, mining and quarries, energy, industry, construction, logistics and transport, tourism and leisure) and the role of the different public administrations.

PROFESSIONAL
PATHWAY. MASTER’S
THESIS PROJECT
The Master’s Thesis Project underlines the personal initiative with a view to solving a specific problem. The development of own skills to undertake a future job in companies, Public Administration or doctoral research is promoted.
