Logging For GPRS1. Capture the PCU logs while the fault is active
d. After having determined the BCSU number from step c start a remote service terminal session to the BCSU: ZDDS:BCSU,<bcsu_index>; e. In the service terminal session start a remote session to the PCU: ZRS:3<bcsu_index>,90BE; example: for BCSU -1 ZRS:31,90BE f. Load the LGLVST command:
g. Set new loglevel for DAM programblock
setlog dam 2 h. Exit the service terminal session by first typing 'exit' then type 'ZE' i. Define the log file j. Set logfile parameters ZDVM:CRIERR&INF&TES::BCSU,<bcsu_index>:PCU,4;
ZDVL:BEG:CONT:::<logfile_index>:INT:BCSU,<bcsu_index>;
l. Delete the sublog file with the ZDVD:<index>; m. Stop the loging in the PCU by doing the following commands: ZDDS:BCSU,<bcsu_index>;ZRS:3<bcsu_index>,90BE;
a. Determine to which BCSU the BTS which is experiencing the fault is connected to. To do this first verify if the fault is indeed on that specific BTS by using the ZEEI:BTS=<bts_number>; repeatedly and see if the timeslots are indeed appearing and disappearing.
b. After having verified the that BTS is indeed having the fault use the ZEQO:BTS=<bts_number>:GPRS; to determine the NSEI to which the BTS is connected to.
c. Use the ZFWO:NSEI=<nsei>; to determine which BCSU the BTS is connected to for GPRS. The <nsei> is the NSEI determined in step b.
dxfload -n LGLVSTSX -d -u 0 -o /bin/setlog.gz
k. Give following command after GP RTSL channels starts to go on/off (DO NOT FORGET TO CAPTURE THE LOGS TO A TEXT FILE. THIS LOGFILE NEEDS TO BE SENT TO NOKIA)
setlog dam 0exitZE 2. Capture the BSC connections: a. Determine the working MCMU ZUSI:MCMU; b. Start are remote service terminal session to the WO-EX MCMU ZDDS:MCMU,<INDEX>; Where <INDEX> - the index of the WO-EX MCMU found in step a. c. Load the FCHECK program ZL:1ZLE:1,FCHECKGX;
d. Exit the service terminal session ZE
