CONCENTRATIONS Our optional concentrations provide students with advanced knowledge in a specifc feld. Five concentrations are available, or the general MBA covers all major functions of business.
FINANCE The Finance concentration prepares students to analyze and manage corporate financial decisions, valuation, investment risks and financial mark et instruments. Graduates will have a deep understanding of global financial markets and economics.
Finance careers include investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, private equity and corporate financial operations. Employers who commonly hire Brandeis International Business School graduates in these fields include Deloitte, Bain Capital, Ernst & Young, and McKinsey & Company.
DATA ANALYTICS The Data Analytics concentration prepares students to use quantitative information in business to analyze data and forecast trends. Because this concentration is STEM designated, international graduates can extend a 12-month practical training experience after graduation by an additional 24 months.
Data analytics skills are increasingly in demand in all areas of business, such as finance, marketing, and operations. Brandeis IBS graduates have applied their analytics knowledge at IBM, JPMorgan, State Street and Kronos.
CONCENTRATIONS MARKETING The Marketing concentration provides the tools to create and communicate customer value, and to analyze customer data. Students can focus on techniques of marketing analytics and will get hands-on experience with marketing strategies.
Marketing career paths include brand management, product marketing, advertising, marketing consulting and market research analysis. Brandeis International Business School graduates have been hired by companies including Apple, Google, TJX and Hill Holliday.
STRATEGY AND INNOVATION The Strategy and Innovation concentration teaches concepts and methods useful in strategic planning, and in driving innovation across a range of industries. Students design their curriculum from a menu of courses and get involved in consulting projects or startup competitions.
Career options in this field include management consulting, business development and general management. These skills enable graduates to start businesses or work in entrepreneurial ventures. Companies that have hired the International Business School graduates in these areas include startups and established firms like McKinsey & Company, Dell EMC and BlueSnap.
REAL ESTATE Brandeis offers the only MBA in the Boston area with a concentration in Real Estate. This unique program of study prepares you to analyze real estate investments and projects. You’ll work directly with large organizations in Boston and around the world on real estate development projects.
Real estate careers include work on raising capital, financial analysis, real estate development, market research, leasing and urban planning. Employers of Brandeis International Business School graduates have included Jones Lang LaSalle, National Development, Citigroup and Cushman & Wakefeld.

CAREER STRATEGIES CUSTOMIZED CAREER PLANNING We work with students on a personalized career strategy. The process begins before arrival on campus with an assessment of professional goals. Then our experienced team of advisors and career coaches help build a compelling résumé and develop a customized plan for success.
COACHING AND MENTORING Our team will guide students through their job search. Career coaches meet with students regularly to identify target jobs and lay out effective strategies to communicate with recruiters. Our alumni mentors work with students to develop professional networks. Program advisors help tailor classes to career goals.
