Context Global capital of perfumes, Grasse hosts all actors of the flavor and fragrance industry, such as: the culture of aromatics and medicinal plants, the transformation and creation companies, … All aspects are developed and processed in this territory, which generates approximatively 3000 jobs that are direct result of this industry. Upon receiving the UCA University degree, students will pursue their careers in the following fields within the industry: Marketing • Consumer understanding • Sensory evaluation • Sales & Business development • Operational marketing • Development marketing • Market surveys Science • Sensory evaluation • Research & Development • Creation of flavors & fragrances • Regulatory & Quality • Applications Law • Patents • Copyrights • Innovation valorization Innovative approach The entire program is based on acquiring fundamental knowledge and professional expertise in this industry. This transfer of knowledge is available through the Edhec Business School’s distance education e-learning experience which is delivered by professors and industry managers. This novel expertise is offered to the student with an optimum course structure through virtual classes, online courses, online exa. Admission Students with bachelor / BBA level in science, marketing, management, or law and 180 validated ECTS and professionals with working experience in the fields of flavors & fragrances can apply to this program. Conditions of admission: application form, level test, TOEIC 815 or IELTS 7,5 and interview Tuition fees: 4000€* *The tuition fee may vary according to your residence status, namely if you are a resident of an EU country or of a country outside the EU. In addition, financial aid (need-based or merit- based scholarships) will be available to students, and other sources of funding will also be available through each training course. UNESCO Chair "Perfume science: between traditions and innovations” The South-East of France and more particularly the region of Grasse is one of the highlights in the perfume industry worldwide. All the actors are involved: perfume plant producers, raw materials processing companies, odorant compounds synthesis, perfumers, teachers, trainers and researchers. The know-how associated with the perfumery professions represents a strong potential for innovation, from a societal point of view and human development. The association Patrimoine Vivant du Pays de Grasse has asked for recognition of the know-how related to perfume to the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The Côte d’ Azur University and the Nice – Sophia Antipolis University are very involved in this process.
