The User Engagement ParadoxBusiness Analytics systems have the potentialto make fundamental and positive changes tothe way organisations work. Our end-usersknow this and there has probably never been atime when user demand for access to the datathey need to make decisions has been greater.Users want effective and easy to use BusinessAnalytics systems. The problem is when webuild those systems, we have a hard timegetting people to use them!
This keynote will explore the paradox ofcontemporary BI: that two of the majorchallenges facing BI developers are meetingend-user demand for systems, while at thesame time fighting to get end-users to use thesystems and data that are provided for them.

The Anatomy of a Mobile App - Tapping Into theMobile Revolution
Jorgen Rasmussen - Director, Dolphin Dynamics
Mobile apps have transformed the way we perform tasks

SAP has created strategic partnerships with Sencha and
Appcelerator to offer broader opportunities.Join Jorgen as he explains the components that make up a

Comparing and Contrasting the SAP BI Tool Suiteto Build the Right Capability in Your Team
Lestor Meadows - Manager, Business Intelligence AsiaPacific, Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific
With a plan to build team capability, Kimberly-Clark first
needed to clearly understand the distinction, commonality,
capability and constraints within each of the SAP BI tools.
In order to do so they initiated case studies to compare and
contrast their suite of SAP BI tools.
The case studies used a common set of queries to compare
and contrast BEx web, Webi, Explorer, Design Studio and

This session provides insight into that journey highlighting
ways to develop team skill and also understand the maturity

Obtaining and Maintaining Business Engagement WhenYou Return to the Office
Craig Nicholls - Manager SAP Services Section, Departmentof Families, Housing, Community Services & IndigenousAffairs (FaHCSIA)
Attending a Mastering SAP conference is an awesome experience -
you leave the event on a high, feeling energised and ready to assist
your organisation to solve all their issues. The days, weeks and
months after the event can be a bit of a letdown as you get caught

engage with senior managers were unsuccessful until 2010 when
the SAP BW team finally broke the glass ceiling and delivered an
executive dashboard. Overnight they found themselves assisting
senior executives to drive organisational change, but fast forward 18months and the dashboard was becoming stale. Discover how they
