Masthead Font Styles

Font Name:

The denotation of the font style is ‘Haze’, which is very similar to Kerrang Its gritty and grimy, similar to that of my magazine of inspiration, Kerrang and it looks quickly sketched. The particle effect makes it look like it could have been sprayed on as well giving it a street edge, and making it stand out from others.

Font Name:

The denotation of the font style is ‘aBite’, which is very similar to Kerrang, mymagazine of inspiration; Its solid but fades nicely as one looks down the letter, it is bold and stands out the page which would make it unique and eye catching. It also suites the underground genre I am going for.

Font Name:

The denotation of the font style is ‘Babalusa Cut’, which is very similar to Kerrang, this is good as the way it is separated and cut makes it stand out quite a lot, and the overall edgy style matches my genre very well, as well as being similar to that of my magazine of inspiration Kerrang. It is also easily readable and well spaced.

Font Name:

The denotation of the font style is ‘I the hero’, which is not very similar to kerrangThis font is good as it fits the style quite well and is very different, it is not very much like my magazine of inspiration, Kerrang, however which means it may not be suitable, it is quite difficult to read as well, meaning its not preferable.

Font Name: Brush Grunge

This font is very suited to the genre of ‘UNKNWN’; as the name suggests. It has denotations of emotion and passion, branching out and fading flamboyantly, fitting the genre very well. Its overall aesthetic suits my magazines greatly as it fades nicely and has a very edgy effect.
