The gantry machines 30 P (TaperSK40/HSK63A) and 50 P (TaperSK50/HSK100A) were designed forsingle-part and series production oflarge and heavy work parts for tooland mould making, mechanical engi-neering, and structural steelengineering. Main range of applica-tion is the machining of 3D-shapes insteel and aluminium, plates,welding and steel construction.
The gantry construction guaranteesgood accessibility from all sides ifspace is limited. The application ofeither a swivel head (± 90°) or a2-axis CNC motor spindle millinghead permits multilateral machining.A rich variety of spindle speed andspindle power options for all materi-als is available.

The matec-40 P with 2-axis swivel head is a gantry machiningcenter with tool system SK50 /HSK100A. The machine hasbeen developed for machining of extensive and voluminouswork parts in mold, steel and machine industries.
The application range mainly covers the manufacturing of3-D forms made of synthetic materials, non-steel metals andsteel as well as machining of welding parts and plate-formedwork parts. The high-performance motor spindle with 33 kWand constant speed 8,000 rpm provides for the optimal chip-ping of all materials in its class.
