    Students will be able to understand how to add,subtract, multiply, divide fractions, mixed numbers,

    and decimals. Interpret the meaning of the quotient,

    use models and solve problems using division of

    fractions and mixed numbers. Find the volume ofright rectangular prisms and model using fraction

    length edges and unit cubes.

    Students will be able to understand how to createratios, rates, equivalent ratios, find the percent of a

    number, solve percent word problems, and convert

    between units of measure.

    Students will be able to find the LCM, GCF, utilizepositive and negative numbers and incorporate them

    into real world situations, locate a number and its

    opposite on a number line, find the absolute value,

    order rational numbers, interpret statements ofinequalities by using a number line and write,

    interpret, and explain statements of order in real

    world contexts.

    position rational numbers on a coordinate plane.

    Module 7: Learning Goal

    Students will be able to determine whether a givennumber in a specified set makes an equation or

    inequality true. Define, write, and apply inverse

    operations to solve addition, subtraction,

    multiplication or division equations. Recognize andrepresent the solution to an inequality on a number

    line and show the relationship between two variables

    using tables and equations.

    Module 8: Learning Goal

    Students will be able to understand how to write astatistical question, calculate the measures of central

    tendency, describe data by its center and spread,

    display data in various forms (dot plot, histogram,

    box plots) and identify outliers and determine theireffect on measurements of data.
